Shipping Agency
Arab Transit has extensive experience in chartering vessels and acting as a proficient ship agent for bulk, tankers, container ships, heavy lifts and all kinds of vessels calling Aqaba. We prioritize transparent communication, expedited procedures, and seamless operations. Our shipping agency services includes representing owners and operators before Jordanian authorities, filing manifest, documentation, coordination with local shippers and consignees, crew change, handling of disbursements, delivery of spare parts and any other services needed by the owners, charterers and crew. Arab Transit has represented some of the biggest global commodity traders in sugar, corn, barely, soybeans, gasoline, gasoil as well as the international ship owners and brokers, and local shippers and consignees.

Our Shipping Agency service is also complemented with other Logistics services we offer, whereby we provide a full Integrated Shipping Service, and provide real-time access to operations via Arqflow and customized web dashboards.

Sea Freight
Our established relations with shipping lines and global network of agents provide us with international coverage and access to competitive sea freight rates. Our sea freight services includes, bulk, RORO, Full Container Loads (FCL) and Less Container Loads (LCL). We can offer services for different types of delivery terms, which includes pick-up from suppliers facility to cargo/ container loading and unloading, handling inland transportation, and overseeing inspections and customs clearance.
Arab Transit also represents Transmar in Jordan, whereby we support regional trade on Transmars services.
Air Freight
Arab Transit’s regional and international network support air freight global coverage with competitive rates. We ensure the cargo is timely handled and with care. We complement Air Freight services with other services to move cargo from origin to final destination, like packing, customs clearance and delivery. Arab Transit has been involved in project cargo by air, handling out of the ordinary shipments and chartering full cargo planes.
Inland Transportation
Our Inland Transportation services include cross-border moves and local delivery from site to port or port to site. We cater for all sorts of transportation moves, which include trailers for containers transport, side truck trailers for bulk cargo, reefer trucks and trailers with reefer generators, car carriers, closed trucks, low-beds and other specialized trucks. During bulk delivery to/ from vessels, our transport operations run 24/7, and we provide real-time access to information via Arqflow’s platform and customized dashboards based on clients needs, to ensure efficiency on the port end and support customers with their planning.
Arab Transit has extensive experience in delivering to Iraq via Aqaba. We offer multiple solutions for Iraq, which includes cross-docking of cargo into Iraqi trucks in Aqaba, or at the borders. In addition, the team has extensive experience in handling project/ heavy weight cargo from the Port of Aqaba to destinations, whereby we carefully asses the transport requirements that best meets the clients needs.
Customs Clearance
Arab Transit prides itself for being one the oldest companies in Jordan offering Customs Clearance. The Company has a Customs Clearance office at major Customs points in the Kingdom of Jordan. Our customs clearance services include handling imports, exports, in-transit cargo and bonded cargo across the Kingdom. We also support our clients with advising them from the very early stages of sourcing materials and products.
